1. Schools
Saratoga has multiple school districts for its elementary, middle and high schools. I recommend verifying the district from my School Info page Santa Clara County School District Locator first.
Elementary & Middle Schools
Saratoga Union School District
Saratoga Union School District serves students in grades K-8 and presently operates three K-5 elementary schools and one 6-8 middle school.
Los Gatos Union School District
Cupertino Union School District
The Cupertino Union School District, with state and national recognition for the excellence of its schools, serves 17,500 students—representing 46 different languages—in a 26-square mile area that includes the city of Cupertino and portions of five other cities in California's Silicon Valley.Historically, district test scores have been high, placing Cupertino among the premier public school districts in the state. The community has high expectations for its children and the degree of parent involvement is high. In response to the increasing need for quality, affordable child care, the district provides before and after school student care programs on a space available basis at all elementary schools in partnership with licensed providers.
Campbell Union School District
From preschool to eighth grade, Campbell Union School District's teachers focus on high academic standards and achievement for every student. More than 7,300 students attend our 12 award-winning schools, which serve the communities of Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Saratoga.
The Moreland School District, a caring learning partnership of students, parents, staff, and community will empower all students through innovative and exemplary educational practices, with the knowledge, skills and critical thinking abilities to become contributing and responsible members of a global society.
High Schools
Los Gatos - Saratoga Union High School District
The Los Gatos – Saratoga Joint Union High School District is located in the technology-oriented Santa Clara/Silicon Valley and serves students from the communities of Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and Loma Prieta in both Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. The District is comprised of two comprehensive high schools, Los Gatos High School and Saratoga High School, and an alternative program, Nova*. Our comprehensive schools share a commitment to high academic standards and a high level of community and parent support while retaining attributes unique to their feeder communities.
Fremont Union High School District
We could not be more proud of our high schools – Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook and Monta Vista – as our students continue to excel! Our academic performance scores are among the very highest in the state for high schools. Furthermore, we are one of the very few high school districts statewide that offers a seven-period academic day making it even more possible for students to participate in our nationally recognized visual and performing arts programs and on athletic teams.
Campbell Union High School District
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, The Campbell Union High School District has served our community with distinction for over 100 years. Our focus is on making education personal – acknowledging the individuality of each student, and preparing each for the unique future he or she will choose.
2. West Valley Community College
West Valley College is a public California Community College located on the west side of Silicon Valley, in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, 50 miles south of San Francisco. Continuing a nearly 40 year tradition, West Valley College offers 18 dynamic career programs, professional certificates, and degree programs with exceptional preparation for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
The City of Saratoga is an attractive residential community with excellent schools and unique characteristics. The community has a historic downtown district, "Saratoga Village," or "The Village" with distinctive dining and unique shops. The City also is home to Villa Montalvo, the former home of Senator James Duval Phelan which is host to a art gallery, an artist in residence program, concert performances and park trails and grounds.
6. Saratoga Chamber of Commerce
The Saratoga Chamber of Commerce focuses on the business community. We work daily with local government and business-related agencies to promote business interests and to keep the community vital.
7. Hakone Gardens - Japanese Garden
A tranquil place of peace and harmony. Come experience Hakone, the oldest Asian and Japanese estate in the Western Hemisphere--eighteen acres of magnificent beauty nestled in the verdant hills of Saratoga overlooking Silicon Valley.
